We are looking for a talented individual passionate about BIM and software development, especially for Autodesk product workflows and APIs, including but not limited to Revit, BIM 360, and related ecosystems, to help us create innovative solutions for the building design and construction industry. This opportunity requires critical thinking and communication skills to interact with internal teams. This role reports to the Director of AI and Innovation.This position is 100% remote, with a lot of flexibility.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and/or maintain whole feature sets of software. This includes hands-on programming and coding existing desktop apps and Revit plugins.Assist in updating and developing an existing project management software, including but not limited to applying changes as directed by the project lead, adding fields, making calls to SQL, modifying, compiling, adding functions, etc. This software has a list of improvements (KEY RESPONSIBILITY TO BEGIN)This software is built on .NET framework and C#. It uses Infragistics UI Controls and control component 1 for report designer (smaller one), SQL Server database. There is already an installation package ready.Work with other software developers and project lead to provide incremental and overall updates to the status and condition of software product progress.Implement solutions in .NET environment using Python or C#.Get familiar with the Revit SDK /API to develop add-ins, the Autodesk Forge platform, and APIs to build applications to leverage design and engineering data.Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.Be able to estimate the level of effort for tasks.Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate and address those issues.Help maintain code quality and organization.Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programsDocument all programming tasks and proceduresRequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.Minimum one year of building automation or integration tools/solutions. (Ideally 2+ years)Knowledge and experience with modern software development practices, including version control and workflow management tools, including GitHub (MUST HAVE)Expertise in C#, SQL Server + .NET Framework (MUST HAVE)Speak Spanish (MUST HAVE)Proven ability to learn new programming languages and work within complicated systems. Or other integrated programming environments to implement algorithms.Willingness to learn Artificial Intelligence Subsets in the generative AI medium.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.Deadline and detail-orientedStrong analytical and critical thinking skills Nice to haveExperience with game engines like UNREAL.Web Application Development experienceExpertise with Autodesk Forge (Autodesk Platform Services)Demonstrated and recent direct experience with the process, workflow, and use of Autodesk products, especially Revit.
