Roles and Responsibilities:Conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing SQL Server databases to identify dependencies, schema structures, and data characteristics.Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to relevant teams.Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DBAs, and project managers, to ensure successful migration outcomes.Develop detailed migration plans outlining the step-by-step process for transitioning from SQL Server to PL/SQL.Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration requirements and timelines.Develop and execute testing plans to validate the accuracy and functionality of the migrated databases.Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that data integrity and application functionality are maintained post-migration.Create comprehensive documentation of migration processes, including scripts, configurations, and test results.Design and execute the migration of database schemas, tables, views, and other objects from SQL Server to PL/SQL.Develop and implement data migration strategies to ensure data integrity and consistency.Optimize and refactor code for performance and maintainability during the migration process.Identify and address performance bottlenecks during the migration process.

Requirements:Proven experience as a Database Engineer or Database Administrator with a focus on SQL Server and PL/SQL.In-depth knowledge of T-SQL and PL/SQL scripting languages.Experience in designing and executing database migration projects.Strong understanding of database structures, schemas, and stored procedures.Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of database operations.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Familiarity with Oracle database technologies and tools.
