Junior Python/Ruby Developer

Overnet Data is a small, innovative technology company that has been working in the education market for the last 12 years. We have developed a unique product called Edulink One that is proving extremely popular in schools, improving the quality and functionality of their IT services while also saving the schools a substantial amount of money.

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Junior Python/Ruby Developer. The Junior Developer will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks associated with the role. This includes Back-End Web Development, Test Driven Development, Programming, and Representational State Transfer (REST).

QualificationsStrong grasp of Back-End Web Development and Test Driven DevelopmentProficient in Programming and understanding of Representational State Transfer (REST)Experience in Software Development in Python or Ruby languageBackground in software engineering, computer science, or related fieldGood analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience in working with education technology is a plusBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
