Frontend Developer

Contract Front End Dev required for data / charts / dashboard creation.3-6 Months - Outside IR35 Remote - UK basedCould be part time if preferred

Motive Group are working with disruptive startup saving companies energy through smart devices and reporting via a SaaS platform.

Tech - VueJS / Typescript / Javascript / Highcharts (or similar charting tool). You will work in a small 3 dev team. A large part of the role will be working on development of the dashboards and charting required.

What We Need:Strong preference for developing using Typescript and Vue 3Knowledge of vanilla javascript codingExperience of backend frameworks, NestJS or Express or Koa + experience with any other modern programming languages (php, c#, java, python etc)Strong preference for TDD (and/or other automated testing)Experience in integration with external REST APIs and writing GraphQL Hands on experience with SOLID principles and design patterns Writing unit, integration and end-to-end tests (eg jest, cypress etc) Good working knowledge of Git, yarn, npm, pnpm Using docker for local development Secure coding practises (OWASP top 10 etc)

QualificationsUsing industry standards wherever possible (OAuth, ReST)Secure coding Talking about and showing your code Pair programming Teamwork, knowledge sharing, training, guiding, helping new and existing team membersClear communication for expressing problems, blockers and any other matters
