Job Description
We are actively seeking an accomplished technology professional with a comprehensive understanding of solutions, industry best practices, and network and security design within Java applications and their development life cycle. This role involves developing Java software solutions that complement, customize, or extend Oracle Communications products. As a key contributor, you will develop applications, configure systems, troubleshoot systems, and provide ongoing support for open application issues. Additionally, you will create and execute test plans for the deployment of software solutions and be a key technical point of contact for the customer.
Responsibilities
The following requirements are mandatory:
6 - 10 years of experience in Java application development.Scripting experience with shell scripts, Python, or similar languages.Deep understanding of Oracle Linux/RedHat and proficiency in working with each.Experience interfacing with third-party applications using Java and REST, XML, SNMP, SMTP.Experience building and exposing API/REST services for end-point consumption.Impeccable communication skills (verbal and written) and strong customer management skills.Team-oriented player with a willingness to collaborate and a strong emphasis on a self-initiative work style.
The following requirements are desirable:
Experience with Oracle communication products (SBC, ECB, EOM) is a major asset.Knowledge of Oracle Communications Converged Application Server (OCCAS) is a major asset.Experience deploying applications on Oracle WebLogic and configuring Oracle Coherence.Understanding of the SIP protocol and related RFC.Experience with orchestration software such as Kubernetes and cloud-native workloads.Knowledge with cloud platforms such as PaaS, CCaaS and AI driven solutions such as agent assist.Strong consulting, implementation, architectural design, and use case requirement analysis skills in the enterprise or the service provider industry.Experience with the architecture and design of enterprise contact centers and service providers.Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

US: Hiring Range: from $87,000 - $178,200 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
