Job at a glance:

This is a 12-month contract planned for conversion to FTE$60-$72/hr W2 + optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)This is a fully remote position, but must live within 60 miles of either Cincinnati, Charlotte, Portland, San Jose, Chicago, or Boca RatonWill involve backend development with Swift and building the SDKs on applications to process clickstream data in order to send it to the analytics data department to support business decisions.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Software Engineer for our Client's Analytics Technology team. The team exists to enable the collection of clickstream analytics data from our various properties, including both web and mobile applications. This group designs and builds the SDKs and backend services that power and facilitate our ability to understand our customers, allowing us to provide increasingly better experiences for them. We strive to make the collection of this data easier and more robust for others throughout the organization by enabling our engineers to think outside the box to solve big and complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

Technical lead for the design and implementation of large and/or architecturally significant applicationsCollaborate with designers & product managers to iterate on the design & implementation of our productWork with Backend Engineers to build and ship featuresDesign a framework for creating user apps that grows with the needs of the companyMonitor app performance, watch for traffic drops related to site usability problems & rectify the issuesReview app and feature code, and plan future app upgrades with the development teamAssist in the development of features that will be put on the mobile app & in internal applicationsImplement responsible design principles to ensure that our app renders well on most devices and is accessibleStay up-to-date on emerging technologiesMust be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
