THE ROLEFivePoint Solutions is seeking to hire a Lead Application Developer to build and maintain functional web-based/cloud services and applications. The Software Engineer responsibilities include designing and developing technical solutions, collaborating with a scrum team to groom and implement user and system requirements for new services and applications, and communicate and demonstrate accomplishments to internal staff. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience building web-based services from scratch or from existing solutions and in-depth knowledge of both of the following programming languages: C#, JavaScript (VUE, Angular).

Ultimately, you will ensure our services are operating optimally and cover both internal and customer needs.

While remote candidates will be considered, preference will be given to those able to work out of our Lexington, SC or Ottawa, Ontario offices.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATEThe ideal candidate must be effective at prioritizing workload, balancing demands from multiple projects and ongoing prioritization of goals and objectives, as well as skilled at problem solving and expectation management. The candidate will be capable of guiding client teams through process evaluations and product requirement discussions. The candidate will be experienced in documentation, training, communicating, and assisting customer and internal teams with communications and processes. They will also be tasked with delegating tasks and overseeing the work of 2 more junior developers so the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate past experience leading teams.
