Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesDevelopment of websites on a WordPress-based platformDevelopment of e-commerce websites with WooCommerceUpdating and maintaining existing WordPress websites, including content updates, visual enhancements, landing page creation, plugins & widgetsTesting and troubleshooting pages on multiple browsers and platformsTroubleshooting server/hosting issuesTroubleshooting responsive code issuesOptimise and Implement SEO into websitesSetting up new customer websites and hosting accountsHelping customers set up and configure email programsAssisting customers with making changes to their websiteTurning mockups into functioning sitesManage and execute against a variety of development tasks for new and existing clients.Working with a team of designers, project managers and developers to complete tasksCommunicate clearly and effectively with clients, while understanding client goals and requirements.Manage the execution of all creative deliverables in line with project schedule and deadlinesAble to multitask and react quickly to shifting prioritiesAssist in any other marketing duties and ad hoc duties as assigned

QualificationsA portfolio that demonstrates good web design skillsMust possess own LaptopExcellent understanding of all things WordPress/WooCommerceStrong knowledge of PHP , HTML5, CSS3, JavaScriptMust be computer savvy and has a strong knowledge of most functions in MS office programs.Strong written and verbal and presentation skills in EnglishOpen to constructive feedback and criticismHigh levels of enthusiasm, creativity, and resourcefulnessOpen-minded, teachable, inquisitive, proactiveAbility to work within a collaborative environment independently and as part of a teamGood time-management skills that allow you to work effectively under pressureYou must be able to take high-stress levels to meet deadlinesYou must be willing to do all other Ad Hoc duties.Strong ability to pick up errors or predict errors.Can call or meet customers for service issues.
