Lead Java Developer (Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese)

While we are growing at a fantastic pace we are looking for a special person. We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to join our dynamic team. You will report directly to the Executive Team and often work side-by-side on major product development decisions.

You can work remotely from anywhere in the US or Canada. Your day-to-day responsibilities

● Lead the design, development and testing of web applications (Groovy/Grails/Java) and mobile apps (Android and iOS).● Drive technical design of software products and conduct code reviews.● Package, deploy and publish web and mobile applications.● Manage projects, assign tasks, conduct QA, and write technical documentations.● Respond to customer support level-3 tickets. Triage and assign tickets accordingly.● Support other team members (marketing, sales, other departments) in technical aspects.● Maintain development and production environments on AWS.You will work in a startup environment, wear multiple hats, and learn many aspects of product development and running business.

About You ● Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.● 5+ years of Java experience, including Spring, Hibernate, Groovy, Grails● 2+ years of Android/iOS experience with Kotlin and Objective-C programming languages.● 2+ years of AWS experience.● Proficient in SQL and database operations.● Collaborate with team members in different time zones across the world, and be flexible with working hours.● Experience in startups or small companies is a plus.● Strong problem solving skills with attention to details and big picture awareness.● Excellent writing and verbal skills in technical topics for communication with customers and partners.
