Job Description:
Contract Production Finance Planning Analytics (TM1)DeveloperWe are seeking a contractor for a 12-month term who can maintain, and enhance the existing modeling, reporting, and analytical functionality within the platform as well as build out new functionality as requirements arise.
Responsibilities
Architect and Build Models and other rules using TM1’s configuration languageMaintain and enhance reports and other features presented within the TM1 UIDeliver reliable, scalable, and efficient business solutions by supporting all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, modeling & design, development, testing, deployment, integration, and documentationOperations support including dimension management, metadata design/maintenance, ETL development, and data validation processesDiagnose and resolve operational issues, perform detailed root cause analysis, respond to suggestions for enhancementsRotational on-call availability for critical systems support
Skills Needed
Strong Skills in building models, reports, and other functionality within IBM’s Planning
Analytics (TM1) Platform
Strong understanding of all Planning Analytics Interfaces including Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), Planning Analytics for Excel (PAFE), TM1 Web, Perspectives, and Architect.Excellent problem-solving abilitiesExcellent interpersonal skills to work well with stakeholders through in-person discussion, chat, email, etcAbility to work within the Software Development Lifecycle of an agile environmentDemonstrated experience working with users in a support and development capacityUnderstanding of finance/accounting concepts such as reading a ledger, knowing how journals work (debits/credits), and the difference between expenses, assets, and liabilities

Prior experience working with tax and regulatory authoritiesAbility to operate within a high-caliber, formal engineering organizationRelevant corporate finance, financial planning & analysis (FPA) experience exhibitingknowledge of financial planning functions and related processes such as budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, month-end close, etc.Knowledge of software development cycle, Git version control, data structures, complexity analysis, unit test, and integration tests is a strong plusFamiliarity and development experience with web services technologies (e.g. REST API, JSON, YAML, XML)Experience in SQL
