Developer: 5+ Years Experience, Python & C++ – AWCape

AWCape, a leading Sage Business Partner based in Cape Town, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented developer / tester to join the Integration & Automation team. What the role will entail & requirements:You will be building high-quality software using Python and C++. Adept at working independently and collaboratively within a team environment, with a strong understanding of software development principles and best practices. Possesses excellent problem-solving skills and is proficient in various development tools and technologies. Eager to contribute to challenging projects and grow within a dynamic organization. Technical Skills:Languages:Python (including popular frameworks like Django, Flask, etc.)C++ (including object-oriented programming concepts)SQL and database management expertiseFamiliarity with other programming languages (e.g., Bash, JavaScript, HTML, C#) a plus

Tools & Technologies:Version control systems (e.g., Git)Build tools (e.g., Make, CMake)Debugging toolsTesting frameworks (e.g., unittest, pytest)Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker) a plus

Experience:5+ years of experience developing software applications in Python and C++Experience across various domains (e.g., web development, data science, embedded systems, iPaas, System Integration) a plusDatabase management Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budgetExperience working in a team environment and collaborating effectively with other developersStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and written skills (Word, Excel, Teams, Powerpoint etc.)
