We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help support our dedicated, friendly and growing Trading Team to deliver critical new functionality to our clients and internal users. We are looking for someone with a front-end technical background in React, Next.js, AWS and ideally, but not essential full stack development.
Majority of colleagues are working remotely, but there is possibility to work from Warsaw office as well.However, all work must be performed within Poland, and remote work from abroad is not available.
Responsibilities:Responsible for writing high quality code adhering to agreed team and regulatory standards as well as review of others codeWorking collaboratively with the team to help deliver significant new features for the businessProviding engineering support for existing applications when necessaryEnsuring existing and newly developed solutions are reliable, secure, performant and maintainableMaintaining awareness of current secure coding practices and ensuring code produced is in line with theseResponsible for developing and evidencing automated tests alongside code producedResponsible for documenting all solutions, produced to agreed team standardsDemonstrating a willingness to learn technologies & techniques embraced by the development teamCultivate strong working relationships both within working squad and in HL as a wholeActively participating in working groups and communities of practice designed to support the development teamContinually developing both technical and interpersonal skills
Must have:5+ years of solid commercial experienceVery good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScriptWorking knowledge of React, Next.js (preferably SEO solutions)Experience with AWS or NetlifyHands-on experience with design patterns, programming and testing best practicesHave a mindset of continuous improvement in everything you doComfortable working in a Scrum/Agile teamDeveloping secure & maintainable codeKnowledge of Node.js, RESTExperience in working with Docker, Kubernetes using microservices architectureProficiency in English (B2/C1) and Polish (at least B1)
