Senior Java developer with Google Cloud Platform Experience

At GFT we have an open position for a Senior Java developer with Google Cloud Platform Experience to join in GFT. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person willing to grow in a multi-cultural, motivating an challenging envieroment.

Your manin responsibilities:

Working on the assigned storiesDelivering quality code with minimum defectsFollowing the principles of Agile MethodologyCarrying out BDD (Behaviour Driven Development)Ensuring production stability of the sub ledger and proactively raising issues/ defects, etc.Review and identify gaps with support documentation and update accordinglyIdentify issues that are due to application or data issues, highlight and escalate accordinglyImplementing Continuous Integration, Delivery, and DeploymentFollowing Infrastructure as Code principlesSharing your knowledge with other team members to cross pollinate skillsAutomating and optimizing all manual repetitive tasksSupport and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologiesProvide continuous service improvement

Skills that will help you suceed:

Technical Diploma or a University Degree in Computer Engineering, Sciences or its equivalent.Great experience working with Java almost 5 years.Experience with Google Cloud Platform almost 2 years (As a Lead qith primary focus in Google Cloud Services like Cloud Run, Cloud Function, Data Proc, PostgreSQL, extensively worked on Terraform with language specialization in Java)At least C1 level of English, written and spoken.

TeamworkCommunication skills, favouring dynamics that allow the flow of knowledge, with interest in both learning and teaching.Proactivity in the search for new solutions and improvements.
