Job Description / Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain complex MySQL stored procedures.Ensure optimized performance of database systems.Design, develop, and implement MySQL stored procedures to meet business requirements.Optimize existing stored procedures for performance and efficiency.Work closely with other developers and database administrators to integrate stored procedures into applications.Conduct code reviews and optimize database queries to improve performance.Assist in database schema design and implementation.Troubleshoot and debug complex SQL scripts.Maintain documentation for database systems and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficient in SQL and experience with MySQL.Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.Experience in developing and optimizing stored procedures.Familiarity with database design and programming.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Good communication and collaboration skills.Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

5 to 10 years’ experience as a MySQL development and administration5 to 10 years of proven experience in developing high-performing stored procedures and scripts.5+ years’ experience with data modeling and design3+ years’ experience with data modeling and database reverse engineeringKnowledge of other database technologies like PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.Experience with version control systems, such as Git.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Experience with managing users, backups, disaster recovery data integrity and security
