Role Overview:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Developer Relations Lead to spearhead our efforts in engaging, supporting, and empowering developers within the crypto and blockchain ecosystem. As a Developer Relations Lead, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our organization and the dynamic world of crypto and blockchain developers. Your primary focus will be to create clear, concise documentation, foster strong relationships, provide comprehensive support, and empower developers within this rapidly evolving ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have both a strong technical background and exceptional communication skills to provide developers with the resources they need to build innovative solutions with Polyhedra’s technology.
Responsibilities:Support and Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for developers, offering technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and advocating for their interests within the organization.Communication Excellence: Exhibit exceptional communication skills to articulate technical details in a clear and concise manner. Create and deliver thorough, engaging documentation, and content to facilitate effective communication.Technical Expertise: Leverage your strong technical background to comprehend and communicate complex concepts effectively. Collaborate with the development team to ensure a deep understanding of our products and services.Engagement Leadership: Spearhead efforts to actively engage with developers, understanding their needs, and providing valuable insights to enhance our products and services.Community Empowerment: Develop and execute strategies to empower and grow the developer community. Organize events, workshops, and initiatives that contribute to knowledge sharing and skill enhancement.Feedback Integration: Act as a conduit between developers and internal teams, ensuring that feedback is gathered, analyzed, and incorporated into product development cycles.Leadership: You will build and lead a high performing DevRel team. Oversee the strategy, growth and continued construction of the way developers interact with PolyhedraCollaboration: Work closely with the product, engineering, BD, community, and marketing teams to execute developer-focused initiatives that are aligned with company goals.
Requirements:Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of zero-knowledge proofs, blockchain, smart contracts, dApps, and related protocols.Developer Relations Experience: Proven track record in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a similar role within the tech industry.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively. (we will ask for writing samples)Community Engagement: Experience in engaging with developer communities through events, forums, social media, and other channels.Passion for Innovation: Enthusiasm for emerging technologies, a proactive approach to learning, and a drive to stay updated with industry trends.Collaborative Spirit: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in the zero-knowledge, crypto or blockchain space.Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities.Experience with developer tooling, SDKs, and API integration.Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity. Experience as well with Rust and IBC is preferred.
