Summary Of Position

The Software Developer is responsible for building and implementing functional programs. You will work with other Software Developers, Software Engineers, and Product Managers throughout the software development life cycle. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and technical skills, has experience with multiple coding languages, and is highly comfortable working in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and implement new software programsProduce clean, efficient code based on provided specificationsAnalyze user requirementsWrite and test code to ensure compatibility and stability, refine, and rewrite as necessaryMonitor quality and performance of applications through testing and maintenanceCreate clear technical specificationsExpand existing software to meet the changing needs of our customers

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience4+ years’ of software development or programming experienceHave a thorough understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and data structuresExperience in JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, and/or PythonExperience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworksExperience with Scrum/Agile development methodologiesHave a logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solvingCapable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervisionComfortable in a fast-moving, cross-functional team in a start-up environmentProven experience to take ownership and work independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skills
