Staff Full-Stack Developer

GiftCash is in need of an experienced Full-Stack Developer (7+ years of experience) looking to build a new system working directly with the CTO and other developers. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your real-world skills and work with new technologies and a modern architecture while staying grounded in the need to deliver for the business.

We expect you to step up, be promoted, and lead by example in everything you do. Most importantly, shape how the business operates by designing solutions and implementing them with the Team. You will be working with members of the Product, Business, and Operational teams who are the most important customers of what you will be building.

There is a lot that goes on behind the pretty-simple-looking facade of the GiftCash e-commerce website. We require help with building new Internal Operational Systems that more than 80 staff rely on every day to turn gift cards into cash for many thousands of happy customers. These systems have advanced desktop and mobile UIs that integrate with scalable backend services connected to databases and task queues. We are building schemas for all data to drive dynamic UIs which eliminates most tedious UI coding. The mono repo system we are constructing is fun to work on because things just work and it tells us when something is wrong.
