We are in search of a skilled Chief Ruby Developer to join our remote team.

In this position, you'll be tasked with refining an existing Ruby on Rails web application. Your primary duties will involve expanding functionality, crafting tests for novel features, and refining the web UI to ensure user-friendliness across a broad spectrum of users. Responsibilities

Enhance the current CRUD operations of the evaluation data model and frameworkCraft efficient solutions that prioritize customer satisfaction when utilizing the web applicationCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, UX Designers, and fellow Developers, to deliver coherent, straightforward solutions aligned with existing CSS and JavaScript conventions in the platformExpand features that augment existing CRUD operations of the evaluation data model and frameworkConsistently deliver straightforward solutions aligned with existing CSS and JavaScript conventions in the platformImprove the web UI with fresh user interfaces to streamline data collection for a diverse user base

Requirements

A minimum of 7 years of experience in Ruby Web Development, with an emphasis on expanding capabilities within existing web applicationsAt least 2 years of experience in guiding software development teams, showcasing adept leadership abilitiesSolid familiarity with Ruby Frameworks, particularly RailsCompetence in React-Bootstrap and Bootstrap JS for crafting responsive web designsExperience in developing features integrating nested attributes of Rails modelsThorough understanding of Rails controllers and ActiveJob frameworks for delegating out-of-band tasksCapability to craft consistent, meticulously considered unit and system tests for all new featuresEffective verbal and written communication skills, enabling seamless collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders and virtual teamsProficiency in the English language, with a minimum of Upper-Intermediate level proficiency
