As an integral member of our Managed Solutions Team, the Custom Solutions Developer is responsible for developing customer functionality connected to our Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) infrastructure, including: 1) building automation solutions using the suite of products available in our Communications Automation Platform, 2) developing APIs, scripts, and extracts, 3) contributing to design documents and reviews, and 4) integrating other platforms/services with Intelepeer’s with the use of APIs. This position is comprised of approximately 40% new development and 40% maintenance and 20% troubleshooting and resolving issues. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Build customer facing automation solutions using our Communications Automation Platform and AI-powered Workflows.Develop code, scripts, extracts, and other artifacts required to solve customer technical issues.Contribute to design documents and participate in design reviews.Be proactive and inquisitive in identifying and finding solutions to complex problems. Work closely with key stakeholders including the customer, to develop solutions and designs.Determine severity and impact of issues on the business and communicate status to Management.Work both independently and with a group of highly skilled developersBe flexible with work hours and schedule; provide on-demand support as needed.Keep up to date on industry technical trends and new development methodologies to maintain current skills and remain current with industry standards. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Computing related field; equivalent work experience and/or relevant Programming Certifications may be considered

Expertise & ExperienceAt least 2 years of experience with Node JS/Angular JS/Express JS/React JS/Mongoose JS. Strong understanding and experience using OO design principles and test-driven development.At least 2 years of experience implementing RESTful web APIs.At least 3 years of experience working with web services (SOAP and REST) with JSON and XML.Proficiency with scripting programming languages (e.g. Python, R, or similar)At least 1 year of experience with SQL and/or NoSQL experience (e.g., MYSQL, MongoDB preferred).Experience in AI, Machine Learning, Speech Recognition, Text to Speech, Natural Language Processing.Experience in utilizing generative AI (e.g., LLMs, generative image models) in inference and fine-tuning tasks.Experience in troubleshooting software issues.Experience with Linux/Unix is a plus.PHP development experience is a plus.Git experience a plus.Docker experience a plus.Shell scripting a plus.Experience with PHP Frameworks like Laravel, Cake, etc. is a plus.
