Frontend Developer / UI Engineer

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Frontend Developer to join our client's dynamic UI team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in front-end technologies and a passion for creating engaging user interfaces. This role requires a deep understanding of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React/Preact. The UI Engineer will design, develop, and optimize our web applications to enhance user experience and integrate with service endpoints.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement visually appealing and responsive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.Develop and maintain robust web applications with Angular and React/Preact frameworksIntegrate UI components with service endpoints for dynamic content retrieval and display.Utilize Postman for API testing and integration to ensure seamless backend-frontend communication.Leverage Node.js for server-side logic and to interface with databases and other services.Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver timely high-quality solutions.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring web accessibility standards.Conduct thorough testing and debugging to resolve issues prior to deployment.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in web development to incorporate into projects as appropriate.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.6+ years of experience in UI development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and React/Preact.Proficiency in using Postman for API testing and development.Experience with Node.js and understanding of server-side logic.Knowledge of RESTful services and APIs.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred SkillsExperience with web performance optimization techniques.Knowledge of web security practices.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
