About the RoleThey are currently seeking a highly motivated Software Developer to join their team based in Chatswood with the flexibility to work remotely from home with occasional office days. This is an estimated 12-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
Working within the Corporate Applications Business Unit, you will play a crucial role in web development along with maintaining the hosted SharePoint On-Premise solutions for customer public and internal facing websites. This role will provide assistance to SharePoint Administration and BAU support coverage as needed.
ResponsibilitiesSolution Development: Design, develop and implement innovative SharePoint (On-Premise) solutionsCustomisation and Configuration: Customise and configure SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows and other components to enhance user experience and align with business processes.Integration: Collaborate with other development teams and IT professionals to integrate SharePoint solutions with existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperabilityTechnical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for SharePoint solutions, ensuring that all development activities are well documentedTroubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems related to SharePoint On-Premise solutions, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient system performanceAssist Legacy Site Migrations: Evaluate existing sites, identify opportunities for improvement and assist with the site migration planning and execution to preferred technologies, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to end usersCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers and system administrators, to understand requirements and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.Delivery of enhancements / bugs fixes via Azure DEVOPS KANBAN
About YouProven experience as a Full-Stack/Backend DeveloperPrior experience with designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applicationsWorked on both front-end and back-end web applicationsHave a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principlesImpeccable communication skills, both verbal and writtenSuperior organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlinesSolid analytical and problem solving skillsStrong computer literacy skills and proficiency with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, PHP, Twig & YAMLTeam player attitude with the flexibility and adaptability to be cross trained and work across teams
RequirementsProven SharePoint On-Premises Developer experienceExpertise in custom web part development, event receivers, timer jobs and SharePoint Designer workflowsMinimum 5+ years Software Developer experienceStrong understanding of SharePoint security model and permissions along with integrating/migrating SharePoint with other applicationsExperience working DevOPs and CI/CD methods and processesExperience working in Waterfall OR Agile processesReliable remote internet access to work remotely from homeAbility to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
