Role Description DOIT Security is in search of a talented and versatile WordPress Full Stack Developer to enrich our team. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of both front-end and back-end web development, with a solid foundation in WordPress platform management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and managing engaging and efficient WordPress sites, ensuring a seamless user experience from the front-end design to the back-end functionality. This is a Part-Time, 100% Remote Contract position with a potential pathway to Full-Time engagement based on performance and project requirements. Responsibilities Develop, deploy, and maintain WordPress websites, plugins, and themes. Ensure high performance and manage technical aspects of the CMS, including database management and optimization. Translate complex layouts and wireframes into fully functioning WordPress websites. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated digital presence. Optimize websites for maximum speed, scalability, and security. Continuously enhance website functionality with updates, plugins, security patches, and new features. Provide technical leadership and support within the team, sharing knowledge on WordPress and web development best practices. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in web development and WordPress ecosystems. Qualifications Proven experience as a WordPress Full Stack Developer with a portfolio of completed projects. Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery) and in-depth knowledge of PHP and MySQL. Expertise in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins. Familiarity with RESTful API interactions and understanding of JSON/XML data formats. Proficient with code versioning tools, especially Git. Solid understanding of website architecture, aesthetic design principles, and SEO best practices. Experience with responsive and adaptive design, along with page builders like Elementor or Visual Composer, is highly desirable. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Nice to Have: Experience with page builders like Elementor or Visual Composer. Knowledge of SEO principles. Experience with responsive and adaptive design. Understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
