We are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer with GCP to become a part of our team. Our focus involves providing Cloud and DevOps support for our client's product within the financial business domain.

It is a fully remote position offering you the flexibility to work from any location in Poland, whether it's your home or one of our well-equipped offices in Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Lodz, Warsaw, or Wroclaw.

What You’ll Do

Evaluate and provide guidance for the development and maintenance of infrastructure using the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Review and guide the creation of CI/CD pipelines and automation, employing cloud-specific deployment models through GitHub ActionsAnalyze and enhance existing systems, services, and infrastructureCollaborate closely with the client's team to guide the development and integration of new functionalityAdhere to standards, best practices, and guidelinesEngage in daily communication with the customerInitiate requests for various services or permissions from the Central Cloud Engineering team through established processes in JIRAImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting based on the architectural design document

What You Have

Shell scripting expertiseKnowledge of GitHub ActionsProficiency in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) operationsExpertise in TerraformFamiliarity with Anthos Service Mesh / IstioKnowledge of network firewall rulesCreation and management of Helm chartsExperience with monitoring and logging solutions in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Nice to have

Prior experience in the financial services sectorProficiency in using New RelicPreferred background in software developmentStrong verbal and written communication abilitiesDemonstrated business acumenEnglish language skills with a minimum level of B2+Knowledge of the German language is considered a plus
