We are currently seeking a Lead AWS Developer with Java/Python to join IPS.
Position Description (scope Of Work Or Brief Narrative)
The Lead AWS Developer needs to lead the technical solution and implementation.
Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance:
4+ years of experience in serverless development (AWS Lambda). Experience in Java/Python and understanding of AWS SDK for Python Experience on cloud databases like PostgreSQL Implement the application's CI/CD pipeline using the AWS CI/CD stack. Experience in cloud formation, AWS pipeline, Code Commit, SNS, SQS, SES, Cloud watch, Cloud Trial, and Cloud front. Knowledge of SQS and Step Functions Knowledge of AWS IAM Experience in EC2 , EBS Knowledge of AWS ECS, VPC Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it. Experience using DevOps tools during Migration/Modernization. Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies Experience in cloud-native databases (DynamoDB, AWS RDS, etc.)
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education. Candidates who have completed a Master’s degree program are strongly preferred.
The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face.
