Quanscient was founded in September 2021. Our vision is to make physical prototyping entirely digital and enable previously unreachable designs. We move fast and build things. We are building our product on our world-class multiphysics simulation algorithms, and a cloud-first simulation platform for scientists, engineers and product designers, to reduce the computing time from days and weeks to the time of a coffee break. About the job
We are looking for a business developer for our simulation software platform who will increase our business by identifying, initiating, and progressing sales opportunities in both prospective and existing accounts.
Impact you’ll own:
Drive and assist discovery conversations during the introductory phase of the sales motion, uncovering each stakeholder's set of business needs, use cases, technical requirements, and purchasing processUtilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key stakeholders and generate interestDevelop sequence strategies for multiple stakeholders to engage across various channels, including phone, email and social media
What you bring:
Experience prospecting a complex technical product or service to commercial accountsPrevious experience with a technical software, in B2B sales, or working with research and engineering departments and organization is a plus, but not a requirement Demonstrated ability to learn complex topics and translate them into effective messaging and business outcomes for targeted campaignsGreat enthusiasm for speaking to new prospects about Quanscient’s value propositionA desire to succeed in the role and grow your career at QuanscientGreat communication and negotiation skillsThis is a remote position, however, flexibility to work mainly with both European as well as customers in North America (and occasionally other time zones as well) is neededAbility to work independently and as part of a team, especially with the sales and marketingFlexibility and adaptability to changeAbility to communicate fluently in English and one other language is a plus

Location:
We are currently based in Tampere, Finland. Our office is conveniently located in the city center, just a stone’s throw away from the train station.
