ServiceNow Developer/Lead

Project Scope:Client is currently using paper-based forms and manual processes for permits. They would like to modernize their existing business processes by introducing a Permit Tracking Application which has an online portal for citizens to request for permits and the software should have the capability to manage the entire life cycle of a given permit. They would like to extend the existing workspace within ServiceNow Cloud to meet this need for the Permits. Client is therefore searching for ServiceNow Professional Services to build a thorough business model for permits by configuring the Public Sector Digital Services, configurable Workspace and integrations in ServiceNow Cloud for all permits thar are used. Roles/Responsibilities:· Design and develop ServiceNow solution for permit tracking application. This includes a total of 54 permit types and an Online Portal · Contribute development perspective to the project plan · Attend Regular meetings to report on progress, updates and issues. · Document System Architecture, Diagrams and all modifications performed on the PeopleSoft System. · System Testing and cutover plans· Contribute to the documentation of SOPs and instructional manuals for the permit tracking application.· Develop application with the following features:o Online Application Submission, Payment, and Status Check for multiple permit types o Accommodate online digital signatures either natively or through a third party software. o Application Intake and Processing for multiple permit types o Application Routing to Departments (Workflow & Status Tracking) o Application Review Processes and Tracking o Approval Processes o Permit Issuance o Permit Renewal and Payment o Hearing Procedure, Scheduling, and Results o Reports and Dashboards o Correspondence (email templates) o Profiles & Security o Configure portal profiles for users o Creation of multiple user profiles and permissions for client team and other vetting teams o Reports and Dashboards: o Configuration of reports to track process-based metrics o Configuration of dashboards for process-based components and metrics/impact-based components o Ability to download data to Department Business Intelligence environment. Mandatory Skills: 1. ServiceNow Developer Certification 2. Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, integration, and implementation in the government sector.3. At least one (1) project creating a Permit Tracking Application in ServiceNow.4. Strong background in Java programming language5. Expert level experience with JavaScript for Server-side programming. 6. Experience with HTML, CSS and Jelly.7. Strong experience creating APIs within ServiceNow using REST, SOAP, or MID Server.8. Knowledge and experience with CMDB. 9. Experience with Flow Designer, Workflow Editor and Orchestration. 10. Knowledge of Security and Access Control in ServiceNow. 11. Experience with Version Control System such as Git.12. Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems (i.e. LDAP/Active Directory) and using data exchange formats (JSON, XML). 13. Experience with CI/CD.
