The Dayforce Public Sector Product Development team is looking for an experienced Software Developer to create the industry’s next generation Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions.
The Software Developer is responsible for designing and implementing new products and features as well as enhancing existing solutions. They will collaborate with an experienced team of Developers, Test Engineers, and Product Managers throughout the development process to ensure the product is functionally complete and well-engineered. What You’ll Get To Do
Add features that are robust, reliable, and scalable for our Public Sector facing products within Dayforce.Contribute as a full-stack web developer to our frontend and backend.Leverage modern UI frameworks to build a responsive and feature-rich user experience for our users.Also, use best practices and design patterns for a highly performant backend service.Participate in our software lifecycle - Analyze, design, prototype, program, test, code review, troubleshoot, and support.Envision and deliver features by working, as part of a high-performing scrum team, with clients, prospects, implementation partners, and Dayforce personnel.Be a part of the agile process to estimate effort, assess risks, and define acceptance criteria and all other impacting factors when new functionality is added.
Skills And Experience We Value
An optimistic, communicative, and technically competent individual who is passionate about learning new technologies and building high-quality cloud applications.Strong coding skills, preferably C#. Expertise with other modern object-oriented languages is a bonus (e.g., Python, Java, C++).Working Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and preferably React. Expertise with other UI frameworks such as Dojo, jQuery, Angular, VueJs are also welcome.Working knowledge of modern web technologies including HTML, CSS 3, SVG, JSON, etc. from professional or academic projects. Working knowledge of modern relational database architecture and SQL.Passion for staying with the problem and solving it together as a team! Knows how to have fun!Disciplined self-starter, capable of working independently or in close collaboration within an agile development team.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
