Core Responsibilities: Design and build localized functionality into the Volvo Cars application for the iOS platform.Help to build a strong local team to define, design, and ship new featuresIdentify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugsHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatizationParticipate in a global development team, representing the North American market for standards and ways of working.Necessary SkillsProficient with Objective-C and Swift UI.Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end servicesKnowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standardsUnderstanding of design principles and interface guidelinesExperience with performance and memory tuning with toolsFamiliarity with cloud message APIs and push notificationsProficient understanding of code versioning toolsFamiliarity with continuous integrationEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
