Backend Developer (NestJs/TypeORM)

Pridelogic is seeking an experienced Backend Developer with a strong background in server-side logic and database management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend technologies, particularly NestJs, TypeORM (or similar ORM frameworks), and relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining the backbone of our software applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and seamless integration with frontend technologies.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain robust backend systems using NestJs.Design and integrate database solutions with MySQL or PostgreSQL, utilizing TypeORM or similar ORM frameworks for data layer abstraction.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Collaborate with frontend developers and project managers to meet project requirements and deadlines.Implement security and data protection measures.Setup and configure a local development environment with a NestJs app connected to a PostgreSQL/MySQL database, ready for development and testing.Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices in backend development.

Job Requirements:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with a strong portfolio of projects utilizing NestJs, TypeORM, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.Proficiency in server-side languages and frameworks, especially NestJs.Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.Experience with database design, querying, stored procedures, and schema migration.Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.Good communication skills and proficiency in English.Candidates should have a NestJs application setup with Swagger for API documentation.A local PostgreSQL/MySQL database connected with NestJs, ready for demonstration and live coding.
