ServiceNow Developer (Remote)
As a ServiceNow Developer you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that optimize efficiency and drive business success. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, strong programming skills, and relevant certifications.
Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement custom applications, modules, and workflows within the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and design solutions that align with business objectives.Customize ServiceNow forms, fields, views, and scripts to enhance user experience and functionality.Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems and applications using APIs, web services, and other integration methods.Perform system configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow best practices, new features, and industry trends to continuously improve processes and solutions.Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) are required.Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other programming languages relevant to the ServiceNow platform.Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, components, and modules.Experience with ServiceNow custom application development, including creating tables, forms, and business rules.Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and frameworks (e.g., ITIL).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Preferred Qualifications:ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in relevant modules (e.g., IT Service Management, HR Service Delivery, etc.).Experience with ServiceNow scripting languages such as Glide, Jelly, and AngularJS.Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Service Portal, and Mobile capabilities.Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, migrations, and platform enhancements.
