Full Stack React/Node Developer | Contract-to-Hire | 100% Remote

DescriptionWe are looking for highly skilled software developer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. You will be part of an early stage startup working on a SaaS platform using React and Node JS programming languages.

This position starts as a contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and project needs. This structure lets you demonstrate your skills and adaptability while contributing to the project.

You must have strong but flexible opinions, possess great written and spoken communication skills, be an excellent collaborator and focused on being part of a team rather than working in a silo. You are open to providing and giving feedback and have a continuous improvement mindset. You know how to actively contribute value to the product, instead of focusing on your tickets. You proactively provide suggestions, raise concerns and resolve issues.

Responsibilities:Design and implementation of the client and server-side architectureManaging the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applicationsImplementation of approved user interfaceDesign and construction of APIDevelop and manage well-functioning databases and applicationsCreate security and data protection settingsProposing and implementing solutions to fix performance issues.Collaborating with the development team to ensure the successful implementation of suggested improvements.

Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in the fields of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or any related field Minimum of 5 years experience with React/Node and thorough understanding of its core principles3+ years specifically operating and managing AWS infrastructure: Serverless, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, CDK, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, VPC, Route53, IAM, CloudWatch, Events, Cognito, Lambda, etcKnowledge in Python programming is a plusExperience using Github/BitbucketExperience writing clean, well-maintained code Constantly learning and sharing knowledge; appreciates and also returns feedback Highly self-driven and responsible Able to work collaboratively with team members of all experience levels and skill sets Desire to learn and participate in all aspects of software development life cycle - planning, development, testing and maintenanceAn eye for good UI
