What you will do

Analyze business requirements and design solutions to meet those requirements Participate in reviews of system architecture, code, and design documents Build backend code for financial processes from scratch and modify existing core applications using Java and Spring Be the owner of the built components in production, performing needed support, troubleshooting and monitoring

Must haves

3+ years of professional experience using Java and Spring Databases: Mongo, Postgres Microservices and REST/API based development expertise Ability to work as part of a Scrum team Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or other technical field, or equivalent experience. Experience developing applications with complex business logic.

Nice to haves

Control-M or similar orchestration platform Drools or similar Business Rules Management System Experience tuning and maximizing performance for high volume Experience with Cloud Technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry Asset Management / Investments / FinTech experience Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps principles.
