Junior WordPress Developer

Work Experience : 1-3 Years onlyThis is a remote position

We are looking for a skilled WordPress developer to design, implement and maintain our websites. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.To be a successful WordPress developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills.

Your Responsibilities:Designing and implementing new features and functionalityEstablishing and guiding the website’s architectureEnsuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMSHelping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.Generating WordPress themes and plugins.Conducting website performance tests.Troubleshooting content issues.Monitoring the performance of the live website.

RequirementsAt least 2-3 years of work experience as a WordPress developer.Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.Knowledge of front-end technologies including PHP, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.Ability to manage projects.Excellent communication skills.
