Who We're Looking For

We are looking for Senior Frontend Developer who is passionate about designing and developing intuitive application or reporting UI's software ensuring a dynamic and cohesive user experience. The candidate will be part of the SUI/IQ Framework team responsible for building UI and reporting frameworks to shape Syniverse products that enables business and customers to have seamless experience. If you have working experience with Angular or other JavaScript frameworks like Vue or React, strong programming background and willingness to learn new technologies we encourage you to apply.

You will be required to adhere to all the company’s software development procedures and processes in fulfilling this role.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software applicationsDeliver complex features with quality and supportabilityWrite and maintain clear architecture, tests and system guide documentationCollaboratively define, scope, prioritize, and estimate workAssist with implementation and monitor to ensure the software is functioning as expectedReview design documents and code to provide constructive feedbackResearch and recommend new technology, methodologies to help increase overall efficienciesFront-end testing, Performance Testing and deploying applications.Triage, reproduce, and debug issues reported by other coworkers for our areas of responsibilityWork autonomously on new items and be proactive in unblocking yourself either by finding solutions or reaching out to other peers.

Experience, Education And Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.5 -7 years experience as a full-time Software Developer/Engineer

Additional Requirements

Strong Javascript, HTML, CSS skillsExperience with Angular or other JS frameworks (Vue, React, etc)Experience with SASS/SCSS or other CSS preprocessorStrong understanding of asynchronous programming paradigmsExperience with Typescript or alternative (CoffeeScript, Dart, etc)Experience deploying enterprise-level web applications to both on-prem and cloud-based environmentsExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc)Strong knowledge of RESTful standards and implementationExperience working with UI/UX design teams, translating designs into functional and beautiful applicationsExperience working independently on a distributed teamAbility to learn and think critically about software and UI design concepts and apply them pragmatically basedon project needsDesire to continually keep up with advancements in relevant technologiesExperience with Agile and Scrum development methodologiesConstantly improve product quality, security, and performance
