We are actively seeking a seasoned and adept developer to conceptualize and implement innovative solutions utilizing Spring Boot and Microservices. The preferred candidate will possess a robust grasp of Amazon Web Services and Kafka. This presents an exhilarating prospect to contribute to a project involving the scrutiny, testing, and troubleshooting of software deliverables. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to execute product releases, ensuring the security and currency of applications.

Responsibilities

Design and implement solutions using the Spring Boot framework and the Microservices architectural paradigmCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to delineate, craft, and deploy novel featuresProduce code that is not only clean and efficient but also maintainable and well-documentedUphold the performance, quality, and responsiveness standards of applicationsIdentify and rectify bottlenecks, addressing bugs as necessaryContribute to maintaining code quality, structure, and streamlining through automationEngage in thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and overall code qualityWork collaboratively with the DevOps team to guarantee proper deployment and monitoring of applicationsKeep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the realm of software developmentAct as a mentor and guide for less experienced team members, fostering their skills and professional growth

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in conceiving and implementing solutions using Java Spring Boot, demonstrating the ability to articulate technical intricacies across various implementationsProficiency in AWS, AWS SQS, and Apache KafkaSolid familiarity with the Microservices architecture for the creation of scalable applicationsSound comprehension of RESTful web services and API designBackground in working with relational/non-relational databases, such as Oracle RDBMSFamiliarity with Git for version control, integration, and deploymentKnowledge of Agile development methodologies and the associated DevOps practicesExceptional communication skills in both spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

Prior experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or CassandraFamiliarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
