Purpose: The Senior Software Developer has the responsibility of researching, designing, and developing software application. While working with Project Manager, the Senior Software Developer helps define the scope, schedules, and tasks to address user needs while applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and/or fully utilizing COTS capabilities. The Senior Software Developer will lead several software developers, and will be responsible for architecture, technical documentation, and overall user experience of the application. Overview: Provide OpenText Documentum and Captiva software support, and integration of these 2 COTS with other enterprise applications.
Requirements:• Active or Eligibility to receive Public Trust for Department of Homeland Security• 5+ years of experience in software development• 5+ years of experience with OpenText Captiva and Documentum
Job Duties: • Act as the main point of contact for the Development Team, Delegate developmental tasks across the team, and perform code reviews. • Ensure a high standard of quality throughout software development lifecycle. • Oversee impact analysis of the requirements, design solutions, and communicate courses of action for decision. • Documentum development experience with knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and version control to develop new functionality to expand the capabilities of the existing custom web application, web services to other applications, and system monitoring and processing utilities. • Support the OPS team in resolving Production issues and provide development support for Documentum/Captiva enhancements.• Prepare build plans for deployments to be delivered to the TDL and PRD environments by the OPS team. • Contribute task summaries for monthly status reports for customer.
