UI Developer

Responsibilities: Develop new user-facing features Ensure the technical feasibility of UI designs Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability Build reusable code and libraries for future use Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to the back-end Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders Follow best practices and company code and style guides to produce maintainable code All other duties as assigned

Requirements: Experience in front-end UI development Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3/4/5 and fully responsive design Solid understanding of accessibility, with experience writing code that meets WCAG 2.1 AA requirements Has a good design eye, strong attention to detail, and thoughtful consideration of trade-offs Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SCSS, LESS, and SASS Good understanding of popular JavaScript/TypeScript and CSS frameworks such as Angular 15+, Bootstrap, and the underlying principles they address Experience working with design systems Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to solve them Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Proficient in ahead-of-time compilation and building systems based on Node/NPM such as Webpack or Angular CLI Creative and effective problem-solving skills; you ask why, you explore, and you're not afraid to seek out new and better ways to accomplish tasks Ability to read and analyze business process workflows and user journey diagrams Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently, supported by good personal time management skills Familiarity with user and business-centric product design and development processes for enterprise applications Familiarity with design to developer hand-off tools such as Zeplin.io Familiarity with modern product design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Miro Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps Ability to collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate product visions into interactive user interfaces Keeping abreast of the latest product design and UI trends and incorporating innovative design concepts into the development process
