Full-Stack Python/TypeScript Developer with React Experience

A client of Scalable Path's is looking for a Full-Stack Python/TypeScript Developer with React Experience. This is a remote, full-time position.

Client Company description:The client is a well-funded Latin American startup building B2B lending infrastructure.

Overview:A Latin American B2B lending startup is looking for a full-stack Python and React developer to help them build out and improve their application. Applicants most be proficient in both English and Spanish to succeed in this role.

Although the client will provide on-boarding initially, they definitely need a developer who is able to work independently to solve problems and deliver results without needing much management (i.e. not needing every detail to be defined or needing too much external QA).

Duties and responsibilities:- Understand the company's goals and contribute to the vision with well-crafted software- Communicate with the team in both English & Spanish- Help develop the team, introducing best practices to the codebase and improving tooling - Implement improved designs- Build new features- Collaborate, love the craft and have fun!

Relationships - who you'll be working with:You will be reporting to the CTO and working with a small, existing engineering team. The client is in the America/Mexico City (-06:00) CST time zone.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Expected contract duration: 12+ monthsThe client is looking for a developer who will stay with them long-term.

Preferred regions:The client's preference is for candidates to be located in Latin America.

Notes:The client prefers someone who can work full-time, but if someone is a great fit and available for less than full-time, they would consider someone who could contribute at least 20 hours per week.
