We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Apigee Developer. This is a hands on role. While our headquarters location is St. Louis, MO, this position is remote and can be based anywhere within the United States and will be working ET zones.
As a Senior APIGEE Developer, you will participate in the definition and implementation of leading API management technologies to transform enterprises into the digital economy.
You will drive all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of applications developed for our clients. As a member in our team environment you will collaborate with other solution architects and developers on interpretation and translation of wireframes and functional requirements—leading to production quality applications and solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities
Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver. Serve as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical expertise and leadership in the development and continual improvement of Perficient Solutions. Responsible for the delivery of sophisticated API Management solutions. Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions. Support Agile Scrum teams with planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through to continuous delivery to production. Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years’ experience in developing API solutionsMinimum 3 years’ hands-on experience developing APIs, proxies, swaggers, and policies development with ApigeeHands-on experience on Apigee Portal, Portal customization and integration with Apigee Edge using, Drupal, NodeJS, JavaScript preferredExperience in securing APIs using Oauth, SAML, Open ID Connect and etc. Experience developing API architectures, implementations, integrations, and deploymentsGood knowledge of design principals and best practices of REST APIsUnderstanding of API management conceptsUnderstanding of Apigee components and infrastructure deployment modelsUnderstanding of Microservices architecture and patterns, microgateway (preferred Apigee), Istio, docker, kubernetes fundamentals a plusDesign and develop security policies and custom integrations with IAM Systems (like Okta, AD, Azure AD) a plusExperience with load balancers, firewalls, TCP, TLS, SSH, automated testing of APIs, Jenkins, CI/CD etc. concepts a plus

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $64,974 to $149,880. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
