Full-stack Drupal PHP/React Developer

OverviewCool Fire Ink is looking for Full-stack PHP/React Drupal developer. Extensive experience developing custom modules for Drupal 9 is required. Applicants should be comfortable enough with Drupal 7 to handle module upgrades and migrations to Drupal 9. We are looking for a developer who knows Drupal very well and follows best practices and coding standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesTasks will include working on several different website projects, some will be small changes, others large implementations or D7 -D8/9 migrations.

Desired Experience:3+ years of exclusive Drupal experience. Prefer someone who's experience is centered around Drupal.Worked with Drupal 7, 8 & 9.Understanding of Drush and Drupal Console.Strong object oriented PHP programming skills.Strong React skills for both mobile app and headless/hybrid site.Following Drupal coding standards writing clean well organized and documented code.Strong back-end skills, with front-end knowledge.Working knowledge of custom Drupal migrations (using the migration module) a big plus.Experience in 3rd party integrations like: Mailchimp, AWS services, payment systems, etc.Strong English communication skills are a must.Comfortable with online written communications and collaboration tools (like Slack, Jira, Clickup, etc)AWS and Server systems knowledge a plus

Company descriptionCool Fire Inc is an expanding Drupal development company based in Florida, USA. We specialize in Drupal sites with complex business requirements. Our typical client's use of Drupal is mission critical for their business and requires extensively customized functionality.

Education – BS in computer science or related a plus, but not required.

Contract details – Must sign a confidentiality and non-compete agreement. Contract completion/termination upon written notice in first 30 days, after 30 days with 2 week notice.

Contract start date - As soon as possible

Expected Engagement Duration - 3-6+ months

Other Job Details - Completely remote, part-time as hourly contractor, approximately 20hrs per week, but could increase. Daily schedule is flexible as long as projects are completed in a timely manner.Communication and project management will be 90% chat (Slack) and task management service (Clickup).
