Responsibilities:Working in a team to develop applications and services using Agile methodsBuilding customer-facing UI and back-end servicesDesigning and implementing applications with low latency, high availability, and performanceUnderstanding the entire web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniquesMentor, and help the team technicallyShould be able to work with the team and inspire them to reach their goalsCollaborate with your team (developers, designers, product owners, QA) to define, design, and ship new features.Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs and improve application performance.Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiencyDetermining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:Bachelor or Master’s degree (preferably in an IT related domain) or equivalent by experience5+ years on similar job positionExperience with Git and other version control systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood experience in Frontend Web Development experienceGood experience with HTML, CSS/etc., JavaScript, and responsive designGood experience in web development using AngularGood understanding of RESTful APIs and how to use them (experience with GraphQL is a plus)Experience with using, building and maintaining a standalone component library is a plusFamiliarity with Git, Jenkins and Agile/DevOps methodologiesExcellent problem-solving and debugging skillsStrong analytical skills and anticipate the impact of possible solutions to complex problemsCustomer centricityLearning attitudeStress resistant and flexibleGood communication skills (spoken and written) according to the needs of different audiencesTeam playerNegotiation skillsEnglish is mandatory. Dutch and French are a plus
