DBT Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DBT (Data Build Tool) Developer with a robust background in Snowflake to join our dynamic team. As a DBT Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing data transformation processes, ensuring efficient and reliable data delivery for analytical purposes.

Responsibilities:Develop and Maintain DBT Models:Design, build, and maintain DBT models for data transformation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Snowflake Expertise:Demonstrate strong proficiency in working with Snowflake, including data loading, transformations, and performance tuning.Optimize queries and work with Snowflake features to enhance overall system performance.

Data Modeling:Create and maintain logical and physical data models to support business requirements.Implement best practices for data modeling and adhere to data governance standards.

Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand and address their data needs.Provide technical expertise and support for data-related initiatives.

Documentation:Document data transformation processes, models, and code for future reference.Ensure that documentation is kept up-to-date as changes are made to data models and processes.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Proven experience as a DBT Developer with a focus on Snowflake.Minimum 5+ years of experience in DBT and Snowflake.US Healthcare experience is preferred.Strong SQL skills and experience in optimizing complex queries.Solid understanding of data modeling principles.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills:Certification in Snowflake.Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Experience with version control systems (Git).Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
