Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Contract ServiceNow Developer specializing in Hardware and Software Asset Management to join our team. This role is an integral part of our technology division, driving the development and implementation of our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hardware and software asset management and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our ServiceNow applications and workflows. This is a contract position with potential for extension or transition into a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, design, test, and implement ServiceNow applications and workflows to meet business requirements.2. Understand and translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring their alignment with the overall IT strategy.3. Manage the lifecycle of hardware and software assets to ensure accurate and timely management and reporting.4. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate ServiceNow with other systems and platforms.5. Provide technical support and guidance on ServiceNow implementation.6. Conduct system and performance testing, identifying and resolving system issues to ensure optimal performance and usability.7. Lead and participate in the design and review sessions, ensuring the application meets both business and technical requirements.8. Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution.9. Monitor and manage the health, usage, and overall compliance of the ServiceNow platform.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.2. 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a focus on Hardware and Software Asset Management.3. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist or equivalent certification is required.4. Proven experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules.5. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow development and customization including, but not limited to: scripting, workflow administration, report setup, module implementations.6. Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and translate them into functional and operational requirements.7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders at all levels.9. Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM processes is preferred.
