Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Cognos BI Developer to contribute to the success of our business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions using IBM Cognos.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.2. Design and develop Cognos reports, dashboards, and scorecards to meet business needs.3. Create and maintain data models, metadata, and data lineage documentation.4. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by implementing robust data validation processes.5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cognos reports and dashboards.6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.7. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in business intelligence technologies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.2. Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Cognos BI Developer.3. Strong proficiency in Cognos BI suite, including Report Studio, Framework Manager, and Transformer.4. Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.5. Proficient in SQL and database management systems (DBMS).6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.7. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
