Job Title: Remote WordPress Developer

Location: India (Fully Remote)

Position Overview: As a Remote WordPress Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites for our clients. This is a full-time position with a fully remote work arrangement and flexible hours, but availability during core business hours is required. You may be assigned to work on multiple projects across different clients, providing you with a steep learning curve and opportunities to enhance your technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:Designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites, themes (paid and free), plugins and securityCollaborating with designers, developers, business analysts and project managers to implement website features and functionality.Working on multiple projects simultaneously and managing priorities effectively.Troubleshooting and resolving technical support issues, ensuring timely resolution.Optimising website performance and ensuring responsiveness across devices.Adhering to project timelines and delivering high-quality work consistently.Providing technical guidance and support to team members as needed.

Qualifications:2-4 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.Experience with custom theme and plugin development.Familiarity with responsive and mobile design principles.Familiarity with code release in different environments (Sandbox, Staging, Production etc.) using SVN/GitHub/Bitbucket trunking and branchingAbility to come up with multiple solutions to address challenges, depending on project or support requirements but without compromising quality.

Additional Requirements:A PC with at least an i5 processor and 8 GB RAM (if needed, we can/will provide a Virtual Desktop)A reliable broadband internet access from a reputable ISP (unfortunately we don't allow our employees to work on Mobile hotspots due to security concerns and performance issues).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work on tight deadlines.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership and drive results.Availability during core business hours to collaborate with the team.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.A passion for personal growth and contributing to the success of the company.
