Job ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable, secure internal APIs to wrap around our proprietary machine learning models, facilitating seamless integration across our products and services.Work closely with our machine learning engineers to understand the functionalities and requirements of the models, ensuring the APIs provide optimal access and performance.Develop and maintain a reliable and efficient backend infrastructure capable of handling the demands of rapidly changing data and user scale.Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure the APIs meet the functional requirements of our products and provide a seamless integration experience.Experiment with and implement the latest technologies and frameworks to keep our backend systems at the forefront of innovation.Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, always aiming to improve performance and user experience.

RequirementsStrong proficiency in backend development languages and frameworks, with a preference for Python.A solid understanding of security, authentication, and best practices in API development.Familiarity with deploying and scaling machine learning models is highly desirable but not a prerequisite.The ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team, with a startup mindset focused on speed, innovation, and quality.Excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to overcoming technical challenges.No strict requirement on years of experience; we value capability and a track record of building and tinkering over formal experience.
