Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Discord bots that offer engaging and efficient functionalities for our user community.Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for bot interactions, ensuring a seamless experience for users.Implement and manage bot sharding as needed to support scalability and optimal performance across multiple servers.Collaborate with team members to identify requirements, design features, and continuously improve bot functionalities.Collaborate with internal teams to integrate and leverage internal APIs, ensuring seamless communication and functionality between Discord bots and our proprietary systems.Stay updated with the latest Discord API changes and bot development practices to ensure our bots leverage the best possible technologies and methods.

RequirementsProven experience in developing and managing Discord bots, with a portfolio or examples of previous work.Strong programming skills, with proficiency in languages commonly used for bot development such as Python, JavaScript (Node.js), or similar.Experience with Discord bot sharding and an understanding of its importance for scalability and performance.Familiarity with the Discord API, bot hosting environments, and security best practices.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.Good communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into clear and understandable terms for team collaboration.
