We are looking for a Founding Full Stack Developer (TypeScript, React, and NodeJS) to rapidly develop web and mobile applications (with some backends) that demonstrate our generative ML Music technologies. You will be the first member of the core tech team and will grow along with it. That means you’ll be responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. The primary focus of the role will be on front-end development – you should be a React and Typescript expert. Duties and Responsibilities
Develop the front-end functionality of our customer-facing web applications using React and NodeJSDesign and implement server-side architecture of the applications and public APIs (including data storage), ensuring they scale to large amounts of traffic and dataImplement best practices to ensure applications work across multiple devices and browsers and can be efficiently tested and debuggedWrite clean and extensible reusable UI componentsWork closely with product, design, and research teams to implement innovative solutions and user-friendly productsImplement security measures to protect user data and prevent unauthorized access or data breaches
Qualifications
Must Haves
3+ years of industry experience in full-stack developmentCompetence in TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS (including Tailwind), Node JS, and JavaScriptPost-secondary degree or diploma in computer science or related fieldExperience working in a start-up and proven ability to ship and maintain scalable productsAbility to work fully remoteSelf-motivation and a drive to problem-solveStrong work ethic - adaptability in rapidly evolving environments
Nice to Haves
Knowledge of Next JS, Python, C++, and FirestoreInterest in and knowledge of music (a huge asset) - especially digital music (DAWs, MIDI, VSTs, etc.)Experience and interest in artificial intelligence What We Provide
