Requirements And Responsibilities
We are currently looking for a Senior Angular Developer to join our dynamic team. Our client is the world’s leading music company and the home for music’s greatest artists, innovators and entrepreneurs. They own and operate a broad array of businesses engaged in recorded music, music publishing, merchandising, and audiovisual content in more than 60 countries.
Your Role
The ideal candidate for this client will be able to work with the existing team, helping to design, plan, implement and document large-scale front-end applications. Together with the rest of the team they will review the implementation of applications following code standards and style guides and will set workflows ensuring that everyone uses the same tooling, having scalability, security, testability, accessibility, maintainability, and robustness as some of their main goals.
What You’ll Do
Create Angular components from scratch.Test components using testing libraries such as karma, Jasmine/cypress/jest.Generate documentation about UI architecture or UI components using Storybook.Document and assist in defining functional and technical requirements of different applications.Evaluate new frameworks and tools that can be integrated into the existing applications without breaking previous implementations.Suggest improvements for front-end development workflows: dependency management, quality checkers (linting), etc.Assist in the development of a new application and solve issues as they appear. UX/UI sensibility: using technical abilities and creativity to design and develop exceptional interfaces.Passionate about programming from a purely scientific skill into an art.Communication skills: clearly communicate complex ideas and proposals. Understanding problems clearly, break them down and propose solutions.Critical thinking style: deconstruct a problem into its base components and figure out the most effective way to solve it.Learning as an ongoing process: challenging themselves to learn new skills, languages, and technologies.Team player: Efficient and effective collaboration with other teams, managers, and other stakeholders, always keeping teamwork in mind to accelerate time to market of the proposed solutions.Effective time and task management: Able to organize and set priorities accordingly, to meet all goals, set between Business/Product and Engineering.
What You'll Bring
Deep knowledge of Angular, its best practices and experience using RxJs.Experience with Git and coding platforms such Github or Gitlab, etc.Package management, NPM, configuration and tools for running custom tasks.Experience with Nx Nrwl, micro-frontends and Storybook is (Highly preferred).Good knowledge of vanilla JavaScript (ES6) is a must.Experience with state management libraries (Optional).Experience of unit, integration or e2e testing and/or testing methodologies such as TDD or BDD (Highly preferred).Guidelines and coding conventions: JavaScript, HTML & CSS (methodologies such as BEM or pre-processors such as SCSS etc).Styling: good knowledge of advanced CSS features such as Flexbox, Grid; pre-processors such as SCSS / SASS / LESS; responsive web development and debugging.
