About our public projects

AutoDL: Financed by Rota 2030, it brings together mobway, UFSC, Bosch, Renault, and Stellantis for research, development, and innovation in the area of secure automotive big data infrastructures, with aggregation and processing of large volumes of data from various sources related to connected vehicles, supporting application scenarios involving artificial intelligence and data analysis tools. This is a pioneering initiative in Brazil in a market with high growth potential in the coming years.

AVADiP: A project led by a consortium consisting of mobway, Stellantis, UFRJ, and USP has been selected for a total funding of R$3.8 million, the project aims to leverage artificial intelligence applications to enhance the use of data generated by connected vehicles, improving user experience and services.

About the Position

As a mid level python developer, you will report directly to the CTO and have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects in AI, data science, ETL, APIs, and integrations, with direct interface with the mobway's partners. This is a dynamic and challenging environment, where continuous learning is encouraged and rewarded with opportunities to grow with the company.

Basic qualifications:

Hard Skills: Previous experience in API development, demonstrated the domain of principles such as REST. Familiarity with frameworks, such as Django, Flask, or FASTAPI, for efficient applications development. Knowledge of ORM, preferably using SQLAlchemy, for interaction with relational databases. Practical experience with relational databases, with emphasis on the use of SQL in environments such as PostgreSQL. Understanding of essential Git concepts, such as commits, branches, and pull requests. Advanced English knowledge for reading and writing materials and code documentation. Soft Skills: Ability to manage and organize tasks and deadlines effectively in a dynamic development environment with multiple stakeholders. Owner mindset, with motivation to grow with the company, learning and acquiring new knowledge in a continuous commitment to professional growth. Proactivity in identifying and solving challenges, actively contributing to the team's and projects' success. Collaboration skills, being able to work effectively in a horizontal team, and sharing ideas and knowledge to achieve common goals. Clear results orientation, demonstrating focus and determination in delivering high-quality solutions with knowledge management to contribute to a healthy remote work environment. Excellent management skills, able to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

Hard Skills: Additional knowledge in non-relational databases, expanding data manipulation skills for different types of storage. Familiarity with AWS cloud services and resources, providing a foundation for cloud application deployment and scalability. Experience or interest in AI (Artificial Intelligence), including dataset creation and machine learning model training. Experience or interest in data science, encompassing analysis and interpretation of large datasets to gain insights. Experience or interest in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), facilitating efficient data integration and manipulation across different systems.

Soft Skills: Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of conveying ideas clearly and persuasively to different audiences.
